'Lady of Strategy',
The Even-Handed Daughter, 'Loyal Vigilance',
Eighth
spirit, she dwells in Alasse Cir (Paradise)
Lawful Neutral Meiva dictates the use of careful tactics in
battle to achieve victory, believing in sound strategy
Meiva has been seen as cold and focused, a deity impartial
as the defender and also enforcer of law.
Meiva's dogma is as follows: Arch Angels/High Guardians
Arch Angels are created by the Gods. Reinn Anon created Arch Angels to serve
each of his siblings. All Original names and references to the story they are from are Copyright of Nathanial Davidson. Pictures are Not Mine./font>
'Blind Justice.'
with her brethren in the Alba
Turris (The White Towers).
The female warrior; she is the Goddess of
strategy, tactics, protection,
Justice, law, order, balance, duty, loyalty
and obedience.
Meiva is seen as a short human woman in drab peasants dress and bare feet.
In one open hand to her left she holds a
levelled scale, and in her right she is grasping a
long sword.
She is fairly muscled, and cloth hides half of her face,
obscuring her nose and hiding her eyes,
so she can not see, as she is called 'Blind Justice'.
Her angels are all female, and her Archs who are also
female are always battle ready, Generals and tacticians.
Primarily worshipped by Guards, those within
the military, the Jharikk and humans who follow a
righteous and lawful path. She is called upon before
battle, before a court
hearing, council session or to protect those who do her work.
Paladins who serve her have
long been respected and revered for their dedication and purpose,
and their
pledge to come to the defence of those who call for it.
versus Shyr'Vaero's passionate
vengeance and tactical usage of intimidating strength.
However the Jharikk see a very
different Meiva, brave, strong and loyal they wish to immolate her
in every
aspect of their society. They have built a Grand Cathedral in her honour in
their capitol of
Tabrimon called Meiva Eroffnung Gesang (Meiva's Opening
Chant) where every evening mass
the High Priest, the Generalleutnant Sealac
Theiss leads prayer for two hours. The intense faith
of the Jharikk people
has saved their own men and women from becoming undead, and
the organized and militarist nature of their society keeps them fortified
against the scourge.
In thankfulness many Jharikk join Monasteries (Abbeys) giving their lives onto Meiva,
taking a
Vow of Silence that can only be broken by chant and these Monks protect
the border lands with their
marital arts and superior healing skills.
Strive to maintain law and order. Obey your
superiors with
alert judgment and anticipation.
Stand ever alert against corruption. Seek out
your opponent's weaknesses and recognize your own;
avoid an opponent's strengths
and play to your own. Bring quick death to all traitors.
Question unjust laws
by suggesting improvement and remember your duties to family,
masters and faith.
These are Meiva's High Guardians.
